Islip Manor High School Receives Somali Community Achievement Award

This morning, Islip Manor High School was honoured to welcome Mr Ahmed, who visited the school to present a special Somali Community Achievement Award.

The award follows the Somali Community Achievement Awards event, which took place in November and celebrated excellence, achievement and positive contributions in health, education and the wider community. The awards recognise individuals and organisations that have made a meaningful impact within the Somali community and beyond.

We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition, which reflects our commitment to supporting our students and working closely with our diverse school community. It is a testament to the dedication of our staff, students and families, who contribute so much to the life of our school.

We would like to thank Mr Ahmed for visiting Islip Manor High School and presenting the award in person. It was a privilege to celebrate this achievement and the strong relationships we continue to build with our local community.
