Year 8 STEM Success at the University of West London

Our Year 8 students recently represented Islip Manor High School at the University of West London's annual STEM Competition, taking part in a series of exciting challenges designed to develop their scientific knowledge, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Throughout the day, students participated in activities focused on robotics, forensic science and medical diagnostics, gaining valuable insight into the diverse range of careers available within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The competition encouraged students to think critically, work collaboratively and apply their learning in practical, real-world scenarios.

A special congratulations goes to Terence and Gareth, who were crowned winners of the Robotics Challenge. Their outstanding coding, programming and teamwork skills impressed the judges and earned them first place in the competition.

We are incredibly proud of all the students who represented the school with enthusiasm, curiosity and determination throughout the day. Their commitment and positive attitude were a credit to Islip Manor High School, and we look forward to seeing their continued success in STEM.
